Dermatology for Animals Palm Beach Gardens aims to meet the growing demand for specialized pet skin care in the region
PALM BEACH GARDENS, Florida – August 1, 2024—Thrive Pet Healthcare, together with its partner Dermatology for Animals, is pleased to announce the expansion of its specialty services with the opening of its first veterinary dermatology hospital in Florida,
Dermatology for Animals Palm Beach Gardens, located at 12300 Florida A1A, Suite 110-112 in Palm Beach Gardens.
“We are thrilled to bring much-needed specialized dermatological care to pets in Palm Beach Gardens,” says Dr. Kaitlyn Peden, a board-certified veterinary dermatologist at Dermatology for Animals Palm Beach Gardens. “Pets are susceptible to a wide range of skin conditions, and our team is dedicated to providing them with the advanced diagnostics and treatment they need to live healthy, comfortable lives.”
Specialized Care for Complex Skin Conditions
Pets with complex or chronic skin conditions may not respond to traditional treatment methods offered at primary care clinics. The new location provides pets with specialized veterinary care focused on diagnosing and treating various skin conditions and allergies using state-of-the-art diagnostics and therapies.
The clinic is equipped with advanced diagnostic tools to perform various tests, such as skin scrapes, cytology, biopsies, and more, to identify the root cause of dermatological issues accurately. This enables the team to implement effective treatments and manage various skin disorders that can otherwise be challenging.
Dermatology for Animals Palm Beach Gardens offers a collaborative approach. Veterinary dermatologists work alongside your pet’s primary veterinarian to develop a personalized treatment plan, ensuring your pet receives comprehensive care. They have undergone years of education, training, and experience focused solely on animals’ skin, ears, hair, and nails.
“In veterinary dermatology, we never stop learning,” said Dr. Peden. “This is what I love about our field. We constantly evolve as new techniques, equipment, and technology improve our ability to diagnose and manage the various conditions we treat.”
Dermatology team members are available by appointment Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at (728) 203-2677. Appointments are available by referral from your pet’s primary care veterinarian.
