Injured Lake County Sheriff’s Canine Dax ‘in great hands,’ grateful for community support as treatment continues

LAKE & MCHENRY COUNTY SCANNER - Officials said Tuesday that Lake County Sheriff’s Canine Dax is thankful for his cards and well wishes as he continues to receive treatment after being injured earlier this month.

Dax continues to receive treatment at TOPS Veterinary Rehabilitation and follows up with Dr. Newman at Partners and Paws Veterinary Services.

“Dax continues to be in great hands and he too is so grateful for all of the cards, treats, and everything else he’s received!” the sheriff’s office said.
