A 7-year-old male castrated golden retriever presented for seizures which started 4 weeks prior. He had 8 grand mal, tonic-clonic seizures in that time, and had been normal between seizures at home. Complete physical and neurological examinations were unremarkable. A complete blood count (CBC), chemistry analysis, urinalysis, and thyroid level performed 2 weeks prior to the evaluation were normal.
