May 30, 2023 (SAN ANTONIO, Texas) – Thrive Pet Healthcare, a first-of-its-kind veterinary healthcare network with 400 locations across the U.S., will host a grand opening at their sixth San Antonio hospital on Saturday, June 3, from 9 a.m. to noon.
Thrive Pet Healthcare Alamo Ranch is located at 11841 Alamo Ranch Parkway, Suite 112 near the Lone Star Parkway intersection, and provides wellness and preventative care, spay and neuter surgeries, vaccinations, and diagnostic testing services for dogs and cats. The hospital features six exam rooms and is open Monday-Friday, 8 a.m.-6 p.m.

The hospital is staffed by southside San Antonio native Dr. Yvonne Smith, who completed her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Ross University in Saint Kitts and Nevis. She practiced veterinary medicine in Klamath Falls, Oregon before moving back to San Antonio. Dr. Smith’s professional interests include soft tissue surgery, internal medicine, minor emergencies, and promoting the human-animal bond.
