Where can I find my pet’s medical records?
Your pet’s medical records are maintained by the veterinary hospital where they receive care. You can request records directly from your hospital at any time—either as a hard copy (printed) or emailed to you.
There are several ways to access your pet’s medical records:
Call your local Thrive Pet Healthcare hospital
Request that your pet’s records be printed for pickup or emailed directly to you.
Sign in to or create your Pet Portal account (upper right corner of the homepage)
Go to Pet Profiles
Select the pet you need records for

Use the Thrive Pet Healthcare app

What types of records can I request?
Medical records may include:
Exam and visit summaries
Lab and diagnostic results
Medications and prescriptions
Treatment plans and recommendations
Vaccination history
Can my pet’s records be shared with another veterinarian or facility?
Yes, your hospital can send records directly to:
Another veterinary hospital or specialist
Boarding or daycare facilities
Groomers (vaccination records only)
Just let the team know where the records should be sent and how.
What if my pet has been seen at more than one Thrive Pet Healthcare hospital?
Each hospital maintains its own medical records. If needed, your care team can help coordinate sharing records between Thrive Pet Healthcare hospitals.
How long does it take to receive medical records?
Many requests are completed the same day or within 1–2 business days, depending on the type of request and hospital volume.
Is there a cost to request my pet’s medical records?
There is no charge.
