How do I apply for CareCredit?
You can easily apply:
Your veterinary hospital’s webpage has a CareCredit link for ease of application
In-hospital—our team can give you a QR code to scan to apply
Approval is based on credit eligibility and determined by CareCredit.
Do you accept pet insurance?
Yes, we accept most major pet insurance providers.
How pet insurance works:
Depending on your provider, you pay for your visit at the time of service
You submit a claim to your insurance provider
Your provider reimburses you for the amount based on your policy
Some insurance companies can adjudicate your estimate and manage your claim while you are still in the vet hospital, which helps you avoid a large payment while waiting for a claim to clear.
Coverage, reimbursement amounts, and exclusions vary by provider and plan. Do your homework to allow you to decide which plan will work best for you and your pet.
Can you help me choose a pet insurance provider?
While we can explain how insurance works and provide documentation for claims, we cannot recommend a specific provider. We encourage you to compare plans, coverage limits, deductibles, and exclusions to find the best fit for your pet.
Who can I talk to if I have questions?
Talk to anyone on our hospital team—we’re ready to answer your questions and help you better understand your financial support options.
